The local market town of Malton is perfect for a couple’s trip out. A foodie’s heaven, brewery tours and gin making are just some of the activities to be found in this hub of local culture.

The famous Elvington airfield also offers driving experiences for the more adventurous – our son can attest to them being “really cool”!

Walking and Cycling

– all the way to Howsham mill
– to Malton, where you can grab a well-deserved coffee and cake.

Or if a nice walk is more your speed, try:
– exploring our village
– the Thixendale wolds way
– Wharhem Percy
– the York river walk
